Every year, more and more students attend various national, regional, and local college fairs seeking information about colleges, universities and other postsecondary institutions. The fairs allow you to meet with students and discuss all aspects of your institution: admission procedures, financial aid opportunities and more!
For numerous years, students in the Southern Nevada area have had limited exposure and access to direct information about colleges and universities, since there has only been one major college fair in the area during the fall months. This has also limited the amount of contact colleges, universities, and other educational stakeholders in our students’ futures, have had in delivering information about their institutions and services to students in the area, until now.
The College Access Group, along with several business and community partners, has accepted the challenge to bring a large scale access and exposure event to Southern Nevada during the spring time of the year. The ACCESS College Fair: Las Vegas Spring 2011 will be the first large scale college fair in the Las Vegas, NV area during the spring. With a unique and fresh outlook on the college fair industry, the ACCESS College Fair is excited to become a part of a growing and important industry, focused on ensuring students and families have access to the best college preparation information as possible!
